We interviewed a number of employees who revealed salaries paid to them. According to the employees, if you are employed to be a cashier, LC Waikiki will pay you a starting salary of Ksh 40,000 to Ksh 55,000. With 3-5 years of experience, you will earn Ksh 60,000 to Ksh 70,000 per month.
Store attendants, those you meet at the shelves earn Ksh 25,000 to Ksh 35,000 per month. When you are looking for a job at the institution for the first time, don’t expect to earn over Ksh 100,000 unless you are seeking opportunity as a manager.
According to internal source, the salary of a manager is Ksh 80,000 to Ksh 120,000 per month. Managers working in areas like Westlands Nairobi earn more than other managers. Some earn Ksh 150,000 per month.
Supervisors earn Ksh 60,000 to Ksh 90,000 per month. A supervisor who has been working for LC Waikiki for at least 3 years will comfortably earn Ksh 90,000.
Apart from the monthly salary, some employees earn bonuses annually.
Accountants at LC Waikiki earn Ksh 70,000 to Ksh 150,000. They have junior and senior accountants. Senior accountant earns Ksh 150,000 while a junior account earns Ksh 50,000 to Ksh 70,000.
HR Officer pockets Ksh 60,000 to Ksh 80,000 monthly while HR Manager earns Ksh 150,000 to Ksh 220,000 monthly.
Finance Director pockets Ksh 400,000 to Ksh 500,000 per month while the CEO is paid over Ksh 1 million monthly.
