Doctor of Philosophy in Physics In  addition  to  fulfilling  the  common  University Six (6) Semesters
  admission requirements, an applicant for the degree of Blended Mode of Study
  Doctor  of  Philosophy  in  Physics  should  hold  a  
  Master’s  of  Science  degree  in  Physics  or  its  
  equivalent, from a University recognized by Kibabii  
  University Senate.  
Master of Science in Physics The   common   University   requirements   for   the Four (4) Semesters
  Master’s  Degree  shall  apply.  Additionally,  the Blended Mode of Study
  following  shall  be  eligible  for  admission  into  the  
  Master of Science degree with Physics either as a  
  single subject or as one of the main subjects or a  
  holder of a Bachelor of Education (Science) degree  
  who has studied Physics as a major subject or its  
  equivalent with atleast Second Class Honours (Upper  
  Division)   or   Second   Class   Honours   (Lower  
  Divihsion) with atleast two years of post qualification  
  relevant   work   experience   from   an   institution

Master of Science in Computer Science Bachelor of Science or related discipline with at least Four (4) Semesters
  Second Class Honours (Upper Division) or Second Blended Mode of Study

 

 

 

  Class Honours (Lower Division) with at least two  
  years of post – qualification relevant experience or an  
  equivalent qualification   from an  
  institution recognized by Kibabii University Senate  
  and  the  Commission  for  University  Education.  In  
  addition,  prospective  students  must  demonstrate  
  proficiency in atleast one of the  
  object  oriented  programming  language  and  data  
  structures.            
Master of Science in Digital Forensics Bachelor’s  degree  in  a  computing  discipline  with Four (4) Semesters
  second class upper division from KIBU or any other Blended Mode of Study
  institution recognized by KIBU Senate or CUE. OR  
  Bachelor’s degree in a computing discipline or related  
  discipline  of  at  least  lower  division  second  class  
  honours of KIBU with two years relevant experience.  
  OR            
  Bachelor’s  degree  in  security related  discipline  of  
  KIBU  plus  at  least  two  years  post  experience.  In  
  addition,   prospective   students   must   have   a  
  postgraduate Diploma in a computing discipline with  
  atleast a credit.            
Bachelor of Science Computer Science Minimum entry requirements are: A mean grade of Eight (8) Semesters
