If your YouTube videos are boring, your visitors will hardly take time to watch them. They will watch for seconds to few minutes and leave. This will affect your income negatively.
Advertisers budget
Income is usually high during festive season and black Friday. It’s lower from late January to March. Advertisers set aside high budget when they know people have higher purchasing power. Sometimes you may get high number of views but the income is low because of the budget set aside for adverts.
Niche
Your niche also determines how much you make from YouTube. Niches like Gossip and politics are not so profitable. The most profitable niches include: loans, banking products, technology, insurance ,health ,personal finance and how to make money online.
