Admission Requirements
To gain admission to the Diploma courses, you must satisfy any of the following minimum requirements:
- Hold a KCSE qualification (or equivalent examination) with a minimum aggregate of C.
- Hold a KACE qualification with a minimum of two principal passes and a minimum of a subsidiary pass in Mathematics and English at KCE
- Hold a professional certificate in Business Management or a relevant discipline from an institution recognised by the Academic Council of the University and a minimum aggregate of a C in KCSE with a C in Mathematics and English, or
- Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the Academic Council of the University as equivalent to any of the above.

Entry Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree. An applicant must receive the bachelor’s degree no later than 31st December of the current examination year to qualify for entrance into the CFA® Program
- Qualified professional work experience totalling at least four years may be acceptable.
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA®)
Entry Qualifications
- Relevant work experience (students will have to provide documentary evidence of at least 6 months work experience)

A professional or academic qualification in any field and six months working experience.

Entry Qualifications
You may register as a student of KASNEB after attaining one of the following qualifications:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Examination with an aggregate average of at least a grade C plus (C+) provided that you have obtained a minimum of a grade C plus (C+) in both English and Mathematics. KASNEB will evaluate any marginal cases on their own merit.
- Kenya Accounting Technicians Certificate or the Accounts Clerk National Certificate.
- A degree from a recognised university
- Such other certificates or diplomas as may be approved by the Board of KASNEB.
Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA)
Entry Qualifications
- A level (at least 2 principal passes) OR Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Examination – mean grade of a C in both English and Mathematics
- ABE Certificate (Association of Business Executive)

Interview Requirements
The interviews will be conducted everyday from 14th January to 25th January and on every Tuesday and Thursday thereafter. Candidates should report to the University by 8 a.m. and bring the following.

- Copies and originals of academic,professional certificates. For year 2012 Form 4 leavers, MOCK results will be considered for provisional admission

Bachelor of Laws
An aggregate KCSE grade of a B, with a B in English or Swahili. An aggregate B- might exceptionally be considered.
• PWD: C+, with a B in English or Swahili.
• Persons with a B or more in Swahili will be required at least a B- in English.
Entry Requirements – UK/IGCSE/GCSE
- O level 6 Bs, with a B in English (not English Literature) and A level 3 Bs.
• At A level, 2 Bs and a C might exceptionally be considered.
• IB Diploma with 34 out of 45 points.
Entry Requirements – Ugandan Students
- O Level – 8 to 32 points (Division 1 or 2) with a 1 or 2 in English.
• A Level – 14 points with 3 principal passes and 2 subsidiary passes.
International Students
Equivalent entry requirements will be applied based on KNQA advice.
Admission Requirements

Masters Entry Requirements
Graduate
To gain entry into a Master’s program at Strathmore University, you generally need a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a C+ in your KCSE or equivalent. Specific programs may have additional requirements, such as a first-class or upper second-class degree, relevant postgraduate qualifications, or work experience
All applicants MUST meet the minimum entry requirements for the respective graduate program they wish to apply for (verified by the School of Graduate Studies) and MUST sit and pass our Graduate Entrance Exam (GEE). The GEE comprises a written exam followed by an oral interview.
The written exam entails English comprehension and grammar, arithmetic, and an essay related to the course you are applying for. The test duration is 1 hour 30 minutes. Once the applicant has completed and passed the GEE written exam, they are scheduled for an oral interview.
The GEE can be administered online or at the Graduate school every Wednesday and Friday at 2:00 pm. The applicant should report to Strathmore University’s admissions office on the interview day.

Provide certified copies of undergraduate degree certificate and transcript of records (TOR) in English giving full details of subjects studied and grades/marks obtained.
Provide a certified copy of your Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education-KCSE certificate (Secondary/High School Certificate or its equivalent).
Attach an updated Curriculum Vitae/Resume. Please use the Europass CV template (http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu)

Provide a copy of the National Identity Card (ID) or a copy of the Passport (bio-data page).
Provide English language proficiency results where required.

NB: Certified copies: Please note the copies of the certificates and transcripts should be certified by the awarding institution or by an advocate of the high court.

Once the application is received and verified, the applicants will be required to pay the interview fee of KShs 5,000 after which they will be scheduled for the entrance exam.
PS: The Oral Interview is carried out after the written exam.
