International Schools pay higher salaries than government sponsored schools. While in high school a teacher is paid Ksh 60,000 per month, the same teacher can be paid Ksh 180,000 by an international school. On average, international school teachers earn Ksh 150,000 per month.

To teach in an international school, a teacher should have rare qualifications in addition to the basic degree. Some of the hot cake skills include:
