Kenya Pipeline is among the best paying government parastatals in Kenya. Graduate trainees are employed regularly to be trained and get absorbed into the system.

Graduate Trainee Qualifications and requirements

  1. Must be a Kenyan citizen and be no more than thirty (30) years of age by close of the date of this advert.
  2. Must have a Mean Grade of at least C+ in KCSE or its equivalent with a minimum of C+ in both English and Mathematics.
  3. Must have a minimum of bachelor’s degree, Second-Class honors, in any of the following disciplines or equivalent from a recognized University:
    1. Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Instrumentation & Control, Project Management and Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Assurance.
    2. Other degrees: Accounting, Human Resources, ICT, Legal, Marketing, Supply Chain, Communications & Public Relations.
  4. Demonstrate relevant leadership capabilities through roles undertaken at University, College School or Community Level.
  5. Must have graduated within the last five (5) years.
  6. Significant progress towards a professional qualification will be an added advantage.

Competencies Required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability, inventiveness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Result Oriented and Customer Focused

The position for graduate trainee is up to 2 years. After training, they are confirmed as permanent employees of the parastatal.

Kenya Pipeline Graduate Trainee Salaries

Kenya Pipeline pays a monthly salary of Ksh 60,000 to Ksh 90,000 to graduate trainees. The salary is taxable. After the two years of training, their starting salary is increased to Ksh 130,000 to Ksh 180,000 per months.
